Candidate Selection Process

The admission selection criteria are grouped into five parameters; each parameter is rated on a scale of zero to ten (0-10) and the individual scores are weighed with factors to arrive at the candidates’ score. In particular, the following will be considered:

Ι. The Grade Point Average (GPA) of the degree, the type of degree, and the quality of the candidate’s transcript of grades, with emphasis on performance in related courses to the P.S.P., with a weighting factor of forty percent (40%). The minimum degree grade for the first-cycle degree or diploma must be at least six (6) on a scale of zero to ten (0-10) or equivalent if another grading scale applies.

ΙΙ. The success in the personal interview, or evaluation of candidate’s curriculum vitae (C.V.) and the ranking of the candidate among his/her peers with a weighting factor twenty percent (20%). Tahe interview evaluates the following criteria: a) Perception and judgment, b) Taking initiatives – autonomy, c) Ability to cooperate and communicate.

ΙΙΙ. Possible publications of the candidate, with a weighting factor of twenty percent (20%).

IV. The candidates’ language proficiency is beyond level B2 with a weighting factor of ten percent (10%).

V. General research or professional activity with a weighting coefficient ten percent (10%).

After the completion of the procedure, that is, the evaluation based on a dossier of supporting documents and an interview, the final list of successful candidates is drawn up. If there are ties between more than one candidate with the same total score, the GPA is considered for their final ranking. If in this case there is also a tie, the final ranking will be based on the average grade in the courses related to the P.S.P.

Prospective students of undergraduate programs, who are in the last semester of their studies and are expected to obtain their degree within of September 2025, submit a certificate of studies instead of a copy of the degree with a transcript.  The finalization of the registration of such candidates to the MSc. Program will be concluded after the submission of their degree.
