Candidate Selection Process

The admission selection criteria are grouped into five parameters, each parameter is scored on a scale of 0-10 and the individual scores are weighted with weighting factors to obtain the candidates’ marks. In particular, the following are taken into account:

α. The overall degree grade, the type of degree and the quality of the candidate’s analytical grade with emphasis on performance in related courses to the MSc with a weighting factor of 35%. The minimum grade of the first cycle degree or diploma must be at least equal to six (6) on a 0-10 scale (or equivalent if another grading scale applies).

β. Success in the personal interview, evaluation of the candidate’s resume, and ranking of the candidate among his/her peers with a weighting factor of 25%.

c. Possible published work of the candidate with a weighting of 20%.

δ. The candidate’s language proficiency with a weighting factor of 10%.

ε. General research or professional activity with a weighting factor of 10%.

Candidates who are current undergraduate students, who are in their final semester of study and are expected to obtain their degree in September, shall submit a certificate of study accompanied by a detailed grade report instead of a copy of their degree. Their registration will be finalised once they have submitted a copy of their diploma.

Applications must be submitted via the online application system.
